Focus Areas

What We Do

Our work spans five interconnected focus areas — from health technology assessment and economic evaluation to capacity building and patient engagement — all oriented toward evidence-informed healthcare in Ethiopia.

Our Approach

Evidence at the Centre

The ISPOR Ethiopia Chapter brings together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and students to generate, translate, and apply health economics and outcomes research evidence in Ethiopian healthcare decision-making.

Across all five focus areas, our work is guided by the same principle: that better evidence leads to better healthcare decisions — and that building local Ethiopian capacity in HEOR and HTA is essential to sustainable, equitable health system improvements.

Five Focus Areas
  1. 1 HTA & Priority Setting
  2. 2 Economic Evaluation & Pharmacoeconomics
  3. 3 Real-World Evidence & Outcomes Research
  4. 4 Capacity Building & Education
  5. 5 Patient & Stakeholder Engagement
