Focus Area 4

Capacity Building & Education

Workshops, short courses, webinars, and training programmes cultivating the next generation of Ethiopian HEOR professionals.

Overview

Growing Ethiopia's HEOR Workforce

Sustainable progress in health economics and outcomes research depends on people — Ethiopian researchers, analysts, clinicians, and policymakers with the skills, methods, and networks to generate and use HEOR evidence.

The chapter's capacity-building programme spans every career stage: from undergraduate students encountering HEOR for the first time, to experienced researchers looking to expand their methods toolkit, to policymakers who need to critically appraise evidence and commission research.

All chapter educational activities are free to members, and most are open to the wider Ethiopian health community.
